Join the Mission: Help 29,000 Children Open a Gift This Christmas

We’re working with Cash for Kids Greater Manchester to support their Mission Christmas appeal, an initiative working to ensure children in our communities wake up to a gift on Christmas morning. They’re aiming to help 37,000 children… but right now, 29,000 of those children still won’t receive a present and currently their shelves are empty, we’ve jumped in to help this amazing charity bridge the gap.

How you can help right now

We don’t have much time as we need to collect donations, buy the gifts, and deliver them before the 16th of December so every child can wake up to something special.

Your contribution goes directly toward a present for a child who would otherwise go without. Our team will use all donations to purchase the gifts and deliver them in time for Christmas.

When you donate, please leave your name so we can keep you updated on our progress and you can see the difference you make. Donate here.

Why this matters

No child should lie awake wondering if Santa will come.

We know times are tough. Everyone is feeling the pinch. But for thousands of families, the choices are heartbreaking, it’s either heating the house or buying food.

We’ve partnered with Cash for Kids at our events before, and we’ve seen the impact they make. Below are a few of the moments your support creates:

A child who finally felt seen

A young girl, hidden away in a refuge with her mother after fleeing violence, spent nights terrified that Santa wouldn’t know where she was. On Christmas morning, she woke her mum in joyful disbelief: “Mummy, Santa did bring presents!”

A grandfather trying to hold everything together

A grandfather who suddenly became the sole carer of his two granddaughters, just 8 and 5, had no idea how he’d manage Christmas. When Mission Christmas gifts arrived, he broke down with relief. For his girls, it meant feeling loved and remembered after unimaginable loss.

A mother who thought she’d have to choose

A mother recently out of work stood in tears as she received gifts for her children. She had been choosing between feeding her kids and giving them a Christmas. “You have no idea what this means,” she said. “I can’t believe I don’t have to choose.”

This is what you can make possible

All these stories are real and are families that Mission Christmas helped last year. And together, we can create thousands more.

Mission Christmas is about more than presents. It’s about hope and dignity. It’s about reminding children that, even in the hardest chapters of their lives, they are seen, loved, and valued.
