This year, we had the privilege of supporting Cash for Kids – Mission Christmas Greater Manchester and thanks to everyone who got involved, we raised £600.
Because of their partnership with B&M, that £600 went even further and became £1,000 worth of toys and gifts for children across Greater Manchester.

Why this matters
The Cash for Kids team have been working tirelessly in the run-up to Christmas. Over a five-week period, they’ll have more than 850 volunteers helping to make sure 37,000 children receive a gift this year, just in Greater Manchester alone.
For many of these children, Christmas doesn’t look like it does for most households. Some families are choosing daily between heating and food. A Christmas gift doesn’t fix everything, but it does give a child a moment of joy, normality, and the feeling that someone is thinking about them.
And that matters deeply.
A huge thank you
We couldn’t have done this without the amazing people who stepped up and donated.
A special shoutout to Hayley Andrews of Hard Hats to Heels, who donated through her Jingle & Mingle event, along with Tim Carroll (Dunore), Aileen Cronin, Lottie Foden (YourKeys), Samantha Williamson (Roma Finance), Fiona Simkins, and Safia Khetab.
Your generosity helped turn a simple idea into real impact and it means the world.
Looking ahead
The work Cash for Kids does is incredible, and being able to contribute, even in a small way, has been a privilege. Thank you again to everyone who shared, donated, or supported the mission. Together, we’ve helped bring a little Christmas magic to children who truly deserve it.
How you can get involved
It’s not too late if you’d like to get involved. B&M have set up drop-off points in a selection of their stores across the UK. Simply pick up an extra gift (or two!) while Christmas shopping and donate it at any participating B&M store.
You can also visit Cash for Kids and enter your postcode into their Mission Christmas map to find your nearest alternative drop-off location. The last day to drop-off is Thursday 18th December. This will give Cash for Kids enough time to collect the gifts and distribute them in time for Christmas Eve.
